Day "B": I'm officially 24 and 1 day :P
Mar. 1st, 2007 01:10 amHow to describe my day: full of joice would fit quite well. Right now it's the only moment of relax I've had today, which is great! Last year I spent all day long in bed with a horrible fever but today I had fun and presents to compensate the last two years XD
I had received so many japanese stile presents I think I could open my own shop next year -my friends know me too well... and I think they find appealing to have another kind of things to buy me instead of books ;P For one thing now I have a cute set for sake, another set of beautiful chopsticks in wood and nacre, a book on ukiyo-e that I wanted to buy time ago and a sumi-e picture dedicated to me! X3As they seem to be in love with the chopsticks I decided to keep them for dinners in group: it'll be awesome to see them trying to eat with them *smirks* And they bought me JET last CD!! ^.^ I'll say in my defense I treated them all to chocolates and alcohol.
Meal with my mother was great too. Perhaps things like this are what I like the most about these days. She even lighted two candles over a strawberry mini-cake and made me wish something <3
But I also had work to do, and too much. Monday in Madrid was in the end another excuse to increase the number of projects we already had. Many interesting ideas and enthusiasm about new fields of research and of course very few people to do the job. At least Madrid looked beautiful from the taxi.
In fact I feel quite stressed this week but hey, B-day was awesome and with proper arguments I'm easily distracted from work worries, so YAY!
