Polar Cold Spell
Dec. 29th, 2004 10:46 pmThey say it was going to come a "Polar cold spell": well, I don't know if it's polar cold or not, but really, I've got enough (and there're still two or three months of winter!). With all this, this is the THIRD cold I caught this winter. Mou! and this Friday is New Year's Eve! I have to be OK on Friday, I have to be OK on Friday...(maybe if I say it many times, I'll convince myself)
On the other hand, I feel guilty of being worried about a simple cold on New Year's Eve when more than 50000 people are disappeared by the effect of tsunami...
I found a poem some days ago < http://www.comp.lancs.ac.uk/computing/users/dixa/words/dream-time.html >, and
although I don't completely share the point of view of the author, I think it's a beautiful way to contrast between joy and sadness.
