WHEN WILL SPRING START?!
Mar. 4th, 2005 10:45 amThis stupid rain! I can't go anywhere!
Anyway, the good part it's that know I've got time for read more, and so I began a book I bought some time ago: The Romance of the Milky Way of Lafcadio Hearn. When I bought it I didn't think it was going to be so beautiful (in fact, I bought it because of one my impulses. I saw it and it was: "Oh! I have to buy it"). I didn't know anything about this author. Now I'm wishing to read more and find another titles of him.
If you don't know him, I'll tell you that this man was a journalist in the beginning of the 20th century who was in love with Japanese culture. He finished his life as a japanese citizen, teacher at the University of Tokyo (I think), and with a series of wonderful works about japanese literature. This book is a compilation of commented ancient tales in poems. It's just wonderful!
