...how to meet new people at a foreign university? and not only people in the same situation as you?

Easy: begin to read a manga while waiting for your teacher to arrive (in my case, Clamp's Lady of the Snow) Sooner or later someone appears and tell you:

-"OMG! Is that Clamp's?"

-Me: O.O yes

-"It's the first time I see it! Where did you find it? Can I?"

-Me: yes ^^;

-"would you like to take a coffee with me and my friends?!"

...and so I've made new friends at my new university XD
(in fact, it was a bit surreal)
