Coffee and tea on a winter day
Dec. 2nd, 2008 12:10 pmYesterday I was cleaning my diary and I found a pamphlet from an ukiyo-e exhibition I saw in summer. The curious thing is that when in July I looked at this engraving, it made me think about those beautiful summer storms, those that come and leave behind fresh air and charming lights.

Hiroshige, Rain over Atake's bridge
I love this picture.
While I looked at it yesterday, I thought it might be only winter rain covering everything in dark shades and cold.
Outside it was almost snowing but instead of snowflakes all we had was that chilling constant rain.
I had a warm cup of tea.
Just a good excuse to recover a Hiroshige pic today~
