Long welcome weekend

I can't believe January is ending already!
I passed great part of this month trying to catch up seriously with work and succeeding only partially. Which is not bad, I guess, but not all that good either. I need to get more serious about it, only I'm going through one of those periods when I feel determined one day, and bored and tired the next one.

It could just be winter.

Fortunately, yesterday was holiday and I was lucky enough to be free today too. I hadn't realized I needed something like a one-day road trip with my friends to feel better. And even though it's not the same to do it in summer as in winter -even when we dont' have snow all around, don't know why it's so comforting to sit in the car and go somewhere in good company. Pass village after village while talking about nothing in particular or listening to music and find a cozy place to eat later.

Now that I think about it, there's something very attractive about road trips. Not for nothing I'm in love with three fandoms that have a car and the road as inherent part of the plot and characters~
