The desert and the beach
Aug. 28th, 2007 12:56 amHi there!
I have no much time to stay on line but today I went to the National Park of Timanfaya that, literally, occupies almost a half of the island. It's incredible! Like making a milk-shake between Mars (?) and Hawaii!*

This is the cute devil that welcomed we visitors to the park.
From now on I left you with pics of the desert of lava. The island is covered with volcanos and since 1730 to 1736 they were spitting out lava without stop. That explains a lot:

Guess this is what it means the "NOTHING", like that from the Never End Story or something... But nevermind, vacation is making me have weird thoughts like that ^^;

In the park you can't get out of the bus but you can have a camel ride! XD

And of course I had one too *g*

That's before me and my camel, Blanca, were officially introduced.
And as every island, Lanzarote also has sea. Beautiful sea!! *_*

I took more than 200 photos today. You're lucky and I have nor the time nor the energy to upload them all~
*This is pure speculation as I've never been in Mars, nor in Hawaii for that matter...
