The entry I wanted to post days ago

kaoticwordsI bought a beautiful diary in Rome. It has leather covers and,on the front, one of the wings designed by Leonardo da Vinci. Lately I've been writing there all the things I didn't write here but to sum it up, I had a wonderful time in Italy -awfully hot, that's true, but wonderful all the same.
I can't say it's been like three years ago -I missed many people I knew then and I really missed my flat- but it's been great to see again some people that still live there.
It's true that there're too many things that make me angry when I'm in Italy -Gods know that I wished more than once to have Sanzo's Smith and Wesson with me, just to put some sense into some men... I can bear a whistle or two but, really, there's a limit and it begins long before a group of cars almost impended me to do my job >_< (I had to take photographs of several archeological sites).
All in all, the city was as chaotic and pretty as always but exhibitions and concerts were the best! Renaissance paintings makes me happy ♥ But I didn't like that much the price of museums' tickets and archaeological parks. Almost 10€ for every one of them!! Thanks that I had a special ID card to solve that *g* In any case, I can't believe just three years ago things worked in quite a different way...

Anyway the month was good and my friend, who kindly lent me her own room all for me (!!), was utterly lovely~
I took these on the bridge to Castel di St. Angelo.
[Looks like the sculptor wanted to make clear that angels can have long legs too XD]
I took the next one in the Church of St. Agnes (who apparently was burned at the stake) and my inner GO fangirl squeed happily when found a little angel with a serpent around his arm XD It was quite amusing to see a group of tourists trying to figure out why a girl took photos of those.
The next one... Well, I simply couldn't help myself ^^;
So that's it. Right now I'm preparing everything fot another trip. This one to the usual place this time of the year: yep, excavation time -.- I hope to come back next weekend (and I HOPE to come back with no injury in my knee, please).
