Jan. 10th, 2009 08:35 pmBusy these last days. I'd like to say it was mostly because of Epiphany and the return to normal life but it was also because of the death of one of my best friends' father. It's been quite a hard blow for all of us.
This kind of events make you even more aware that life is too short, so it's better to think about the positive things, those being all the happy meetings I had this week. For one thing, I was able to contact (and be contacted by) some of the people I met in Italy years ago, and thankfully they're all ok :) And on the other hand, I got a lot of lovely moments and presents for Epiphany. I'm specially happy with the three comics I received and the DVD of Queen's concert in Montreal ♥
So far I've read Death by Neil Gaiman, which I was waiting eagerly, and I've loved it. The other two are Spanish titles -I think the one titled Jazz Maynard looks very promising. And about the concert, if you watched it, you already knew it's fucking awesome! I simply have no words XD
My friends also gave me a pretty set of sake, green and white tea and a lovely evening, so after all the dark moments of this past week, fortunately there's also a good amount of things to smile for.
