Saiyuki
1. The first character I fell in love with: Hakkai, because behind all the smiles and good manners he can be very scaryand he totally owns Gojyo's ass
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Goku Later he stole my heart. But neither did I think I would like Komyou and Ukoku so much.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: How difficult D: Maybe Hazel or Kanan.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: I don't know, I think one of the best things of Saiyui fandom is that everyone has his special character and there's a wide variety of opinions here so there're few characters systematically hated.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: doesn't apply here.
6. The character I would shag any time: Gojyo, of course XD
7. The character I'd want to be like: More than a character I love the general philosophy of Minekura, all the "while I'm living, I'll fight" and "I'd rather do things my way, fuck what others think". Very Sanzo-like, but actually all of them are like that.
8. The character I'd slap: Hakkai, when he took his eye out after Gojyo had saved him; sometimes Sanzo; Hazel; Kami-sama; and I'd slap Nii for being such a cocky bastard but he's too scary to be slapped.
9. A pairing that I love: Gojyo/Hakkai.
10. A pairing that I hate: Gojyo/Goku when it's not in a crackastic scenario, Hakkay/Goku, and sometime I think I've seen some Chin Yisou/Hakkai dark fic and it really crept me out.
11. My five favorite characters: Sanzo, Gojyo, Hakkai, Goku, Komyou.
12. My five least favorite characters: Hazel, Gyokumen, Rikudo, Nataku and I don't know, maybe Kanan.
13. Which character I am most like: Here I agree completely withlauand, you can feel identified with all of them at some point or another. Although I can remember quite clearly feeling more than once the ire of Sanzo... (especially when visiting archaeological sites next to roads on the outskirts of Rome).
14. My deep, dark fandom secret: The first time I watched the anime on the italian MTV I didn't like it at all -and I didn't know it was Saiyuki. Two months later I bought the second vol. of the manga becausesouji_chan recommended it to me and i couldn't find the first one. I fell madly in love with the manga and Minekura's style and I didn't know yet the anime from the series was the same I didn't like. A year later I had watched all the anime. Not so deep dark secret, I'm afraid.
X/1999
1. The first character I fell in love with: I began reading X because of Tokyo Babylon so of course, Seishirou and Subaru.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Sorata or Karen.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Kamui, I guess.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: again, it's difficult to find a character that everyone else hates in this fandom.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: I like and dislike the same characters I did when I first read the manga.
6. The character I would shag any time: Dangerous question in a fandom where the hottest guys are very very creepy (also read Seishirou Sakurazuka). I'd say Subaru but that would be like a suicide, besides, I'd rather see him shag with Seishirou. So I'd choose Karen.
7. The character I'd want to be like: I'd rather not be like any X character, thank you. But in any case, Hokuto.
8. The character I'd slap: oh, line up here, please! I wouldn't say Kamui because poor boy is slapped enough by Dark Kamui. I'd slap Seishirou for being and idiot; Hinoto, just because; Fumma...
9. A pairing that I love: Seishirou/Subaru.
10. A pairing that I hate: Subaru/Kamui.
11. My five favorite characters: Seishirou, Subaru, Hokuto, Sorata and, perhaps Karen or Yuzuriha.
12. My five least favorite characters: Hinoto, Satsuki, Yuto and maybe Kamui and Kotori.

14. My deep, dark fandom secret: when I followed X, I would have prefer to see Seishirou and Subaru dying together or surviving together. Now the idea of a slightly mad Subaru haunted by Seishirou's ghost is not so unappealing for me. But I'm loosing hope in reading the end of the manga (and I hated the end of the anime).

1. The first character I fell in love with: Tsuzuki <3
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Hisoka.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: ... I didn't like all that much Tsubaki-hime but I did't hate her.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: I love Tatsumi, but again I think he's quite likable.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: none yet.
6. The character I would shag any time: Touda, if possible with his long hair.
7. The character I'd want to be like: Watary, he's very funny and cute.
8. The character I'd slap: Muraki, you crazy bastard.
9. A pairing that I love: Tatsumi/Tsuzuki.
10. A pairing that I hate: Normally Muraki/Tsuzuki, but there are exceptions.
11. My five favorite characters: Tsuzuki, Hisoka, Watary, Tatsumi and Oriya.
12. My five least favorite characters: the Gushoshin, Hisoka's parents (that makes 4?) and the doctor who worked for Muraki or the many people who persecuted Tsuzuki when he was alive.

Sí, si con Watari a mi también me gusta, extremos tan opuestos los dos XD Pero es que desde que leí en el manga el capítulo ese en que se meten en uno de los libros del Conde, me convencí de que Tatsumi había estado pilladísimo por Tsuzuki, aunque no tenga nada que hacer con él ahora ;__; Y reconozcamos que aún así, se ve que Tsuzuki tb sentía algo especial por Tatsumi T__T Su historia es muy trágica!!! *ANGST* D:

Y Tatsumi tenía (además del papel trágico-sacrificado-parezco-malo-pero-en-realidad-no-lo-soy) el pelo largo, y a mí eso me pone muy tonta. Sí, la verdad es que la relación Tsuzuki-Tatsumi es la típica que los ves y dices "estos tíos son gilipollas", en el sentido de que podrían estar juntos pero no lo están porque, como ya he apuntado, son gilipollas.

X, yo creo que tiene un momento concreto para ser leído y, o lo encuentras y aprovechas, o no ^^;
A lo mejor solo desvarío, pero si Saiyuki ve el "angst", le da una patada y sigue caminando porque no merece la pena detenerse por algo así; X se regodea en "angst", hasta el punto que si quitas ese elemento de la serie los personajes se quedarían preguntándose qué leches se supune que deberían hacer con su existencia.
